Open Office is a free downloadable office suite that mimics and is compatible with Microsoft Office. Open Office contains a Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Database, and Presentation program and supports Windows/mac/Linux operating systems. This class will focus on the Word Processing and Spreadsheet components of the program and review the remaining features of this free alternative to MS-Office. Prerequisite: Basic computer and word processing skills.
