Participants will learn the fundamentals of the Windows XP Operating System including how to launch applications and tools, manage/organize files and folders with Windows Explorer, and use My Computer and the Control Panel to configure XP. The class will also cover how to add hardware devices such as printers and scanners and how to control them. You will also learn to use several of XP’s built-in accessories and system maintenance tools. Key features of Microsoft’s Vista and the new Windows 7 operating systems will be reviewed. Class limit is 12.
