The Evolution of Dogs as Companions: They Know Us, Do We Know Them?
Your search has brought you to a course from a previous catalog that is no longer available for registration. Please click here to access our active catalog to browse current course offerings.

In these two weeks we will discuss a brief history of socialization of dogs. We will break down the different breeds and how their behavior is genetically driven by the jobs they were designed for. We will go into depth on how to read a dog’s behavior; are dogs fighting or playing; is the neighbor’s dog threatening you or does he just want to play? This class is informational only and not considered a training in dealing with potentially aggressive animals.
