What happens if your business partner passes away, suffers from an injury or illness, or even goes through a divorce? Will you be thrust into a partnership with their spouse, or see the value of your ownership interests plummet overnight? These concerns are entirely valid, but thankfully a “Buy-Sell Agreement” provides peace-of-mind, by empowering you to dictate the business’s ownership and value structure, both now and in the future.
This course is designed to shed light on the options that business owners have to shield their “baby” from life’s invisible threats that are constantly lurking in the shadows. We will also explore and discuss a few key Succession Planning and Business Strategy techniques, such as gifting shares and increasing efforts to retain key employees. An open-ended Q&A session will wrap up our time together.
